Med: First Book

August 13, 2007

So I got my first book today–Netter’s Human Anatomy Atlas. I got it for free by signing up with AMSA–American Medical Student Association. Of course, the signup cost roughly $75…the same as the book. Whatever.

So of course when I got home, I needed to rip it open and see what’s in front of me. All I can say is…damn. I don’t know how it’s possible to cram that much information into one’s mind–and this is just one of many books I will soon be reading.

Leave it to my brother to put my anxiety into perspective:

“Yea, well you’re gonna be a doctor…there’s gonna be a lot of big words and lots of pages.”

Fair enough. Bitching stopped for now.
